Los Fresnos, TX (November 1, 2024) On Thursday morning, 92-year-old Gudino Gonzalo of Los Fresnos lost his life after an auto-pedestrian crash on FM 1575.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the tragic event happened at around 6:50 a.m. along FM 1575.

Reports say that a 2003 white Chevrolet Astrovan traveling southbound struck the pedestrian walking in the southbound lanes.

DPS reported that Gonzalo died at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
