Local Sikh Leader and TV Show Host Killed in Crash in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (October 6, 2019) – Authorities identified 70-year-old Guddi Sidhu as the victim killed in a crash on Cornelia Avenue, Sunday afternoon.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened at about 2:00 PM. Due to unknown reasons, the victim’s vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic. There, the vehicle hit guy wires, used as tension ropes to hold free-standing structures. As a result, the car was thrown 10 feet into the air.
Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
Fresno police continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
