Guadalupe Cabada Killed in Rear-End Collision on 15 Freeway (Halloran Summit, CA)

Guadalupe Cabada Identified in Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision near Halloran Summit

HALLORAN SUMMIT, CA (January 09, 2019) — A 54-year-old woman was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle collision on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Halloran Summit.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman as 54-year-old Guadalupe Wong Cabada of Las Vegas. Officials said the collision was reported at about 11:17 pm on Sunday. A Porsche Cayenne rear-ended a Nissan Sentra, causing the latter to be pushed off the road and into a ditch.

Cabada, who was a passenger in the Nissan, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were reportedly injured in the crash. One sustained critical injuries and the other was airlifted from the collision site.

The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
