Yakima Fiery Crash Kills Griselda Madrigal and Ignacio Hernandez of Moxee

 
Yakima, WA (April 15, 2021) – On Wednesday, 39-year-old Griselda Madrigal and 41-year-old Ignacio Hernandez, both from Moxee, died in a fiery crash on Roza Hill Drive.
 
Officers responded to the crash scene at about 11:45 p.m. in the 9000 block area, east of the Terrace Heights landfill.
 
When they arrived, they found a single-vehicle rollover crash wherein the car involved caught fire.
 
Officers extinguished the car and brush fire.
 
Furthermore, reports said the car was eastbound when the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle.
 
Unfortunately, the car slid sideways, struck a dirt berm, and rolled before it finally stopped on its top. That is when the car started a fire.
 
Authorities do not know yet if intoxicants were involved in the accident. An autopsy is expected to reveal the cause of the crash.
 
Meanwhile, officers are still investigating the incident.
