Gricelda Ponce Sandoval of Adelanto Dies in Ridgecrest Road Collision [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (August 16, 2024) – Gricelda Ponce Sandoval, 54, of Adelanto, was killed in a Ridgecrest Road collision Thursday morning.

The fatal collision happened at 6:45 a.m. on August 15, near Chinquapin Drive and Landis Drive.

Investigators said a white 2017 GMC Yukon and a white 2024 Toyota Camry appeared to have collided head-on.

Despite the rescuers’ life-saving measures, the Toyota driver, Gricelda Ponce Sandoval, was killed at the crash scene.

Meanwhile, the 52-year-old Victorville man driving the GMC, was taken to a local hospital.

Troopers closed Ridgecrest Road between Green Tree Boulevard and Dayton Street during the investigation.
