LAKE COUNTY, CA (January 11, 2023) – Monday morning, Gregory Zacherson died in a head-on crash on State Route 29 and Argonaut Road.
 
The incident happened at around 10:46 a.m. at the intersection of State Route 29 and Argonaut Road.
 
According to reports, a southbound 1999 Chrysler Concorde veered over the double yellow lane. Then, it collided head-on with a northbound 2021 Honda Passport. Afterward, the Chrysler continued south in the northbound lanes. Eventually, it collided head-on with a northbound 2001 Ford Focus. Then, a northbound 2008 Mercedes C300 failed to avoid the incident and collided head-on with the Chrysler.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that the Chrysler driver, Bradley Jones of Lakeport sustained major injuries. Also, the Ford driver, Timothy Laubach sustained major injuries.
 
However, Ford passenger, Gregory Zachreson died at the scene. Also, the Mercedes driver, Andrew Pick sustained minor injuries in the crash. Then, paramedics transported all injured patients to a hospital for treatment.
 
Furthermore, authorities believed that DUI played a major role in the incident. Authorities arrested Bradley Jones at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the fatal crash remained under active investigation.
