CHP Searching for Suspect in Orangevale Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash
Orangevale, CA (August 10, 2022) On Saturday evening, a 56-year-old woman was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Greenback Lane.
CHP says that a car struck the woman near Walnut Avenue around 10 p.m.
Reports say that the woman was crossing Greenback Lane when the accident happened, and the car fled the scene after the collision.
The California Highway Patrol asked the public on Tuesday for assistance in locating the suspect driver and vehicle.
Furthermore, authorities describe the suspect vehicle as a dark maroon/brown, 2007-08 Honda Element SC. Additionally, the crash damaged the left-front corner of the Honda.
