4 Vehicles Involved in Late Afternoon Collision in Granite Bay, Injuries Reported
GRANITE BAY, CA (January 9, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision late Wednesday afternoon in Granite Bay.
The collision happened around 5:46 p.m. at 8789 Auburn Folsom Road near Fuller Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Lexus, a Hummer and two other vehicles were involved, blocking several lanes. Injuries were sustained in the accident, two were taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the wreckage.
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
