Grand Avenue Multi-Vehicle Collision Kills One and Injured Five [Glendale, AZ]

Glendale, AZ (March 04, 2022) On Wednesday, a female passenger died and multiple others were injured in the Grand Avenue multi-vehicle collision.

According to the Glendale PD, the fatal crash happened around 7 a.m. Grand Avenue and Myrtle Avenue, west of 59th Avenue.

Officials say that they found a crash involving three vehicles and a motorcycle.

Moreover, reports say that a Nissan Altima went left of the center and collided with a white Jeep Cherokee.

Afterward, both vehicles crashed with a motorcycle and Chevy Equinox.

A female passenger on the Nissan was pronounced dead on the scene.

Meanwhile, the motorcycle rider was in grave condition, they were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Additionally, four other people were injured and were taken to a medical facility.

Authorities did not release any information about the victims but confirmed that all people involved were adults.

Police shut Grand Avenue down until 2 p.m.
