Grace Fierro Hospitalized after Car Crashes Into Her Home in La Puente
LA PUENTE, CA (May 12, 2019) – Late Sunday night, Grace Fierro was injured in a hit-and-run accident on Molinar Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened just before midnight near Amar Road.
Officers stated the driver of a 2013 BMW M3 lost control, slammed through a concrete block wall, and into the victim’s bedroom. However, the suspect fled the scene.
First responders arrived at the victim’s home shortly after. Police stated she was sleeping in her home before at the time of the accident. As a result, Fierro was unexpectedly thrown off her bed when the car crashed into her bedroom. Eventually, paramedics were able to free her and transport her to a local hospital. Fierro sustained a bump on her head. Her current medical condition is unclear at this time.
It is unclear what caused the vehicle to lose control. No further details have been released regarding the incident at this time.
Law enforcement stated the driver of the vehicle has not been identified nor is in custody yet. Once captured, the suspect will face felony hit-and-run charges.
