1 Person Dead in St Louis Pedestrian Accident on Goodfellow Boulevard and St Louis Avenue

ST LOUIS, MO (October 28, 2024) – Saturday night, Govan Bonaparte died in a horrific pedestrian crash on Goodfellow Boulevard.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Goodfellow Boulevard and St Louis Avenue.

St Louis Police said that an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian in a wheelchair. Then, the car fled the scene, dragging the victim about 1,000 feet away without stopping to provide aid.

Responders rushed the victim, identified as Bonaparte, to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The circumstances leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified once additional details become available.
