GMC Yukon SUV Driver Killed in Crash on Highway 118 [Somis, CA]

Somis, CA (January 29, 2022) – On Friday, a GMC Yukon SUV driver sustained fatal injuries in a vehicle crash on Highway 118.

Officers received the crash report at 6:26 a.m. east of Price Road which also includes a box truck and a pickup truck.

Officers said a westbound GMC Yukon SUV and an eastbound box truck going collided head-on.

The GMC Yukon male driver died at the scene.

Later on, as the officers were investigating the fatal collision, a westbound pickup truck driver swerved to avoid the crash in front of him.

However, his vehicle went into a ditch along the south side of the road.

Immediately, the rescuers took the box truck and the pickup truck drivers by ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center. 

The authorities said that all three drivers were alone in their vehicles when the collision happened.
