GMC Driver Injured in Deadly Crash on Highway 395 [Adelanto, CA]

Adelanto, CA (September 18, 2024) – A 23-year-old man from Meridian, Idaho, was injured in a deadly vehicle crash on Highway 395 Sunday night.

The fatal vehicle crash happened around 10:50 p.m. on September 15 south of Desert Flower Road. 

Investigating officers said a man was driving a southbound 2003 Mini Cooper S on the freeway when drifted into the northbound lane.

The Mini Cooper collided with a 2023 GMC Sierra driven by the Idaho man who was traveling at 65 MPH.

Despite the GMC driver’s efforts to prevent the collision by driving to the east shoulder, the vehicles still collided. 

The Mini Cooper was partially ejected from his vehicle and died at the crash scene. 

The GMC driver, on the other hand, incurred minor injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Global Medical Center.

Both vehicles incurred significant damages due to the collision.
