79-Year-Old Gloria Provencio Dies in Stockdale Highway Collision [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (January 11, 2024) – 79-year-old Gloria Provencio sustauined fatal injuries following a Stockdale Highway collision late Wednesday night.

Responding officers located Provencio suffering from major injuries on westbound 3800 block of Stockdale Highway. Unfortunately, she died 

The authorities said she was hit near the intersection of with Real Road by a vehicle that fled the scene. 

In the meantime, the officers are still investigating if speed or impairment played a role. They are asking for any information that would help to identify the driver.
