Late Afternoon 2-Car Crash on Highway 78 at 22nd Avenue, Injuries Reported
BLYTHE, CA (May 26, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized following a two-car crash late Sunday afternoon in Blythe.
The crash happened around 5:28 p.m. on Highway 78 at 22nd Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Hyundai Veloster and a black Chevrolet Equinox collided for unknown reasons. Injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
The exact number of injured occupants was not immediately available, but one patient, identified as a Gloria Johnson, was taken to a Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Both cars were towed away from the collision scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
