DUI Arrest Following Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 108 in Twain Harte
Twain Harte, CA (December 26, 2024) On Thursday evening, 70-year-old Glenn Caldwell of Sonora was hurt in a horrific wrong-way crash on Highway 108.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the 2-vehicle crash happened at about 7:45 p.m. west of Confidence South Fork Road.
Reports say that authorities arrested 28-year-old Kyle Gedrose of Sonora for drunk driving after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 108 in Tuolumne County Thursday night.
Authorities say that Gedrose was driving a Volkswagen sedan westbound when he crossed the solid yellow lines into oncoming traffic due to alcohol impairment. His vehicle collided with the left side of a Ram pickup driven by Caldwell.
Although the crash resulted in minor injuries, the CHP arrested Gedrose for felony DUI and causing injury.
