1 Person Dead in Temecula Traffic Accident on Rancho California Road near Interstate 15

TEMECULA, CA (July 7, 2024) – Friday afternoon, Glenmar Salcedo died in a devastating head-on crash on Rancho California Road.

The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Rancho California Road near the Interstate 15 overpass.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, a Hyundai SUV veered into the oncoming traffic for still unknown reasons and collided head-on with a car. Then, the force of the crash pushed the car to collide with a third vehicle.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the SUV, identified as 50-year-old Salcedo of Menifee, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported two people to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
