39-Year-Old Woman Dies in Lake Isabella Accident
Bakersfield, CA (December 19, 2022) – On Friday, Glenda Williams, a 73-year-old woman from Onyx was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Highway 178.
The traffic accident took place at about 4:55 p.m. east of Patterson Lane in the area of lake Isabella.
CHP immediately responded to the scene and located a woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle.
When officials arrived, they found the 39-year-old woman who was hit and killed by a car.
Officers said the victim was wearing dark clothing and walking in the traffic lanes when Glenda Williams who was driving at 60 miles per hour struck the victim
According to the authorities, Williams did not see the pedestrian on the road and left the scene. The authorities contacted her the following day.
In the meantime, CHP is investigating the Lake Isabella accident.
