Phoenix, AZ (February 27, 2024) – On Tuesday morning, 86-year-old Gladyce Thorson Nielsen died in a 3-vehicle crash on 7th Avenue and Thomas Road.

The Phoenix Police Department reported a three-vehicle collision near 7th Avenue and Thomas Road at about 11 a.m. 

Authorities took one of the injured parties, later identified as 86-year-old Gladyce Thorson Nielsen, to the hospital, where she eventually died. 

Detectives are actively investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
