Girl Hospitalized after Tucson Pedestrian Accident on Flowing Wells Road
TUCSON, AZ (August 28, 2019) – A girl sustained serious injuries after a pedestrian accident on Flowing Wells Road on Sunday, August 25.
At about 7:45 p.m., a southbound vehicle struck her while she tried to cross North Flowing Wells Road. In addition, the accident happened just south of West Prince Road, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson police spokesman.
The girl remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries as of Monday.
Dugan said the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Detectives determined they were not intoxicated.
Information was not yet available regarding a crosswalk in the area.
