DONNA, TX (October 26, 2024) – On Wednesday, a 13-year-old girl sustained injuries in an alarming pedestrian crash in Donna.

Authorities said that the 13-year-old girl missed her bus on her way home and was crossing the roadway when she was struck by a truck.

Paramedics airlifted the girl to a hospital in San Antonio in critical condition.

Officers cited the truck driver for insurance and registration violations, but will not face any other charges.
