Rescuers Rush to Yakima County Traffic Accident
Yakima County, WA (July 17, 2023) – At about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, a four-year-old girl sustained injuries following a pedestrian accident near Silver Beach Resort.
Several fire and law enforcement immediately responded to the accident.
The Naches Fire Department stated that helicopters are sent when there are confirmed injury motor vehicle accidents and serious medical emergencies in hard-to-reach areas primarily on white pass.
The injured child arrived at Harbor View Medical Center over an hour and a half after the accident with possible femur and pelvic fractures.
In the meantime, the authorities are investigating why the girl was struck.
