1 Killed and 3 Hurt in Llano Accident on Highway 18 near 263rd Street
LLANO, CA (March 6, 2022) – Last February 27, Gina Jones died in a vehicle and motorcycle crash on Highway 18 near 263rd Street.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the incident happened at around 1:16 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 18 near 263rd Street.
Reports revealed that an eastbound 2020 black Harley-Davidson motorcycle veered across the double yellow lane. Then, it collided head-on with a westbound silver Toyota Tundra.
Moreover, responders pronounced the motorcycle driver, 48-year-old Gina Jones of Palmdale, dead at the scene. Then, Los Angeles Sheriff Air Rescue Helicopter #5 rushed a male motorcycle passenger to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Also, officials confirmed that the pickup driver and a passenger sustained minor injuries in the incident.
