Gilberto Gomez and Oscar Juarez Barrios Killed in Palm Desert Crash
Palm Desert, CA (September 12, 2021) – On Sunday, 52-year-old Gilberto Gomez of Indio, and 17-year-old Oscar Juarez Barrios of Mecca, died in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 111.
Officers received the crash report at about 4:33 a.m. at Fred Waring Drive.
The authorities pronounced Gomez and Barrios dead at the scene.
On the other hand, officers rushed the seriously injured patient to a hospital for treatment.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the crash.
