GRANDVIEW, WA (November 9, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, authorities arrested Geronimo Perez III after a deadly crash on Yakima Valley Highway and Tear Road.
 
The incident that killed a 28-year-old man happened at 4:40 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Yakima Valley Highway and Tear Road.
 
According to reports, 51-year-old Geronimo Perez III drove west on Yakima Valley Highway while speeding. Then, he illegally passed another vehicle before driving across the centerline. Eventually, Perez crashed into the victim’s vehicle.
 
As a result, responders declared the victim dead at the scene. Meanwhile, Geronimo Perez III suffered no injuries.
 
Also, the authorities booked the suspect into Yakima County Jail for vehicular homicide.
