83-Year-Old Gerald Zushin Hit and Killed in Tucson Accident
TUCSON, AZ (October 3, 2019) – Gerald Zushin, 83, died in a pedestrian accident on 1st Avenue on Thursday morning.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the accident happened near Prince Road at approximately 6:00 AM.
Based on a report, the elderly was trying to cross the intersection when he was hit by a car. He was not on a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident.
An attending coroner declared Zushin dead at the scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. There were no showed no signs of impairment according to authorities.
