Jesus Perez Arrested in Orange Blossom Road Crash Killing George Pacheco
Oakdale, CA (May 19, 2021) – On Tuesday, 78-year-old George Pacheco died while police arrested 23-year-old Jesus Perez of Oakdale in a DUI crash on Orange Blossom Road.
The fatal crash took place at about 7 p.m. near Lancaster Road.
Apparently, three people were in a southbound Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle entered the northbound lane and struck a Chevrolet Tahoe.
Unfortunately, Pacheco, the Tahoe driver died at the accident scene. His passenger, a 76-year-old unidentified woman sustained major injuries.
Perez, the Silverado driver, along with another passenger, incurred major injuries. A second passenger in the Silverado sustained minor injuries.
Officers said alcohol appeared to be a factor in the accident. The authorities arrested Perez.
