Phillip Ellyson and 1 Other Hospitalized after Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash near Agua Dulce Canyon Road
ACTON, CA (September 30, 2018) – A man was killed early Sunday morning and two others were hospitalized following a wrong-way crash on the 14 Freeway. The victim was later identified as 28-year-old George Bravo of Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place shortly before 5:00 AM near Agua Dulce Canyon Road. A silver Lexus sedan, driven by Bravo, was heading south in the northbound lanes of Highway 14.
There, he collided with a white Toyota pickup, driven by 51-year-old Phillip Ellyson of Canyon Country.
Bravo suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers. Meanwhile, Ellyson and his unidentified 17-year-old passenger were transported to a local hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to major. Updates on their current medical conditions were not immediately available.
