2 People Hurt in Nevada City Auto Accident on Highway 49 near Broad Street
NEVADA CITY, CA (September 16, 2024) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested Geoffrey Rodgers after a disastrous DUI crash on Highway 49 near Broad Street.
The incident happened along Highway 49 near the Broad Street onramp.
According to the Nevada City Police Department, a vehicle struck two officers who were assisting another vehicle that struck and killed a bear.
Moreover, responders rushed the two officers to a hospital in stable condition.
Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the suspect vehicle, identified as 28-year-old Rodgers for felony DUI.
