Genoveva Conoway Killed in West Loop 1604 North Hit-and-Run Crash [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (January 12, 2023) – On December 16, Genoveva Conoway, lost her life in a West Loop 1604 North hit-and-run crash.

The authorities immediately responded to the crash scene in the area of Westwood Loop.

According to the investigating officers, Genoveva Conoway was southbound on West Loop 1604 North in a 2014 red Toyota Camry. Suddenly, a blue 2013 Chevrolet Camaro driver disregarded the stop sign at the intersection and then collided with Conoway’s vehicle. 

That’s when, the authorities say as she exited her vehicle and walked to a private driveway, a vehicle southbound vehicle swerved to avoid colliding into her vehicle. However, the vehicle went onto the sidewalk and struck her.

Conoway was located in a grassy median. The paramedics rushed her by ambulance to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle left the scene without stopping to render aid.
