Gene Ogden Killed, Nirahn Luangrath Seriously Injured in Napa Motorcycle Crash
NAPA, CA (June 22, 2019) – A man died following a motorcycle crash Saturday morning at Lake Berryesa.
The victim has been identified Monday as Gene Ogden, 70, of Fairfield.
The crash happened shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Berryessa Knoxville Road at Spanish Flat, when a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle crossed over the double yellow lines at the intersection and collided head-on with a 2019 Harley-Davidson, driven by Ogden.
Responding paramedics rushed Ogden to Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville, where he succumbed to his injuries Monday.
Police took the Kawasaki rider, 38-year-old Nirahn Luangrath of El Cerrito, to Queen of the Valley Hospital with major injuries.
It it unknown if drugs and/or alcohol have played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
