2 Dead in Contra Costa Accident on 80 Freeway

 
CONTRA COSTA, CA (October 5, 2020) – On Friday, Gearry Terry Brown Jr. and Gearry Brown Sr. died in a fiery crash on Interstate 80.
 
The incident took place on the 80 Freeway and San Pablo Dam Road in Contra Costa.
 
According to reports, one of the men died at the scene. Meanwhile, the other one succumbed to injuries at a local hospital.
 
The deceased was identified by the victim’s family members. The deceased were a father and son from Vallejo. 37-year-old Gearry Terry Brown Jr. drove the vehicle and 70-year-old father Gearry Brown Sr. rode as the passenger.
 
Several people stopped to free the father and son from the car accident and blazing vehicle. However, the fire grew bigger and hotter.
 
As of this time, the CHP hasn’t confirmed the identities of the victims. Moreover, they haven’t disclosed why the vehicle crashed into a cement wall at the overcrossing.
 
The fatal crash on the 80 Freeway remains under active investigation.
