Major Injuries Sustained in Late Evening Crash on Highway 99 in Gasquet
GASQUET, CA (May 12, 2019) – Three people were injured following a traffic accident late Sunday evening in Gasquet.
The crash happened around 10:39 p.m. on Highway 99 at Oregon Mountain Road, about a mile South of Collier Tunnel.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Mitsubishi carrying three people was involved in a collision. All three patients were hurt from the accident, two were badly injured.
Two air ambulance were dispatched to the scene to transport the patients to a hospital. The identity and conditions of those involved were not immediately known.
The full circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
