Gary Ray of Yucca Valley Dies in State Route 62 Pedestrian Accident [Twentynine Palms, CA]

Twentynine Palms, CA (December 22, 2022) – On Wednesday night, Gary Ray, 69, a Yucca Valley man, sustained fatal injuries in a State Route 62 accident.

It was about 9:15 p.m. when the fatal accident took place in the area of Fox Trail.

According to the authorities, an eastbound white Fiat collided with Gary Ray who was in the roadway. 

Immediately, the San Bernardino County Fire Department rushed the victim to the Hi-Desert Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

Officers investigating the scene said alcohol or drug intoxication does not appear to be a factor in the Fox Trail accident.
