TAYLOR, TX (September 10, 2024) – Monday morning, 66-year-old Gary Krause died in a horrific pedestrian crash on 3700 N Main Street.

The incident happened at around 6:11 a.m. in the 3700 block of N Main Street.

Reports said that a 2014 Dodge struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway.

Taylor Police confirmed that the pedestrian, identified as Krause, died at the scene.

Officers identified the driver of the Ford as 19-year-old Jesus Huicochea.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
