Gary Hurlburt Killed in Carmichael Car Crash on Manzanita Avenue
CARMICHAEL, CA (June 7, 2020) – Late Friday morning, Gary Hurlburt, 66, died in a car and scooter accident on Manzanita Avenue in Carmichael.
The crash occurred at about 10:00 a.m. in the 4000 block of Manzanita Avenue near the Big 5 Sporting Goods store.
The California Highway Patrol later revealed that the crash involved multiple vehicles, one which hit a pole.
After the crash, authorities shut down one lane of Manzanita Avenue by noon due to the fallen pole.
Meanwhile, the other lane was filled with debris from the incident.
Furthermore, the California Highway Patrol continues to spearhead the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
