Gary Circle Arrested After Fatal Crash on Georgetown Drive [Rancho Cordova, CA]

Vehicle Crashes into Home in Fatal DUI Collision near Coloma Road

 
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (January 19, 2020) – Authorities arrested Rancho Cordova resident Gary Circle after a fatal crash on Georgetown Drive on Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Coloma Road at approximately 4:30 PM.
 
Reports from the Metro Fire showed that a family was watching a football game when Circle’s car crashed into their home.
 
Two people were pulled from under the car by the firefighters. One of them died at the scene. The victim’s name was not yet released. The second victim and one other person were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
Police booked Circle into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges including vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
 
Additional information showed the man involved in a fight prior to the collision. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
