1 Fatally Injured in Fallbrook Accident on East Mission Road
FALLBROOK, CA (UPDATE) – On August 22, 26-year-old Garett Taylor died in a head-on crash on East Mission Road. Authorities later arrested 18-year-old Dylan Pullins.
According to reports, the car and pickup truck collision occurred around 1:15 p.m. The California Highway Patrol added that the incident happened in the 3500 block of East Mission Road.
Due to the fatal crash, the authorities shut down the roadway at Red Mountain Dam Drive for several hours.
The surrounding area on East Mission Road was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway later reopened to traffic.
Furthermore, towing services were requested in the area due to the extent of damage sustained.
Later in the week, authorities released the name of the fatality in the accident as Garett Taylor of Redwood Valley.
Moreover, a teen from Ukiah, Dylan Pullins, was arrested for suspicion of felony DUI, Gross Vehicular Manslaughter, and providing false information to an officer. Police then booked him into Mendocino County Jail.
