Head-On 3-Vehicle Collision in Garberville Temporarily Closed Highway 101
GARBERVILLE, CA (March 12, 2019) – Multiple injuries were reported following a three-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in Garberville.
The collision happened around 4:34 p.m. on Highway 101 just near the Richardson Grove State Park.
According to reports, a Ford F-150 towing a flat bed trailer crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Honda CRV. A third vehicle, a Toyota RAV4, then got involved.
Several parties were injured from the impact, one of them suffered moderate injuries.
The Toyota sustained major damage with a broken driver’s side tire.
The northbound traffic was stopped for some time during the rescue and clearing operations.
