Gambino Perez Arrested after DUI Hit-and-Run Collision on Choiceana Avenue and Vine Street [Hesperia, CA]

1 Detained after Hesperia Car Accident

 
HESPERIA, CA (April 15, 2019) – Authorities followed home and arrested a 28-year-old driver after fleeing the scene of a collision on April 12.
 
The incident occurred on Choiceana Avenue and Vine Street in Hesperia. According to Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Cindy Bachman, the 3-vehicle crash occurred about 4:30 pm. Furthermore, one of the drivers escaped the scene without talking to the other drivers.
 
“One driver followed the vehicle to a residence on Carissa Ave. and deputies made contact with the driver,” said Bachman.
 
Authorities identified the suspect as Gambino Perez of Hesperia.
 
Police arrested Gambino for Hit and Run & Driving Under the Influence. Moreover, authorities booked and later released Gambino.
 
The collision injured no one.
