Gail Hansen Amos Dies in Rialto Pedestrian Accident
Rialto, CA (January 19, 2020) – On Friday, 55-year-old Gail Hansen Amos died when she was fatally struck after crossing Walnut Avenue.
Indeed, the deadly crash occurred at around 5:08 a.m. on January 15, west of Alder Avenue.
Apparently, the Rialto Fire Department arrived to the scene first. There, they found the San Bernardino woman lying on the roadway.
They transported the victim to a local hospital. Even so, the victim was pronounced dead at 6:26 a.m.
Subsequently, officials gathered, through evidence and other witness statements, that a black Honda Accord had been traveling westbound on Walnut Avenue, from Alder Avenue.
Then, the vehicle, along with a gray Nissan pickup travelling directly behind the Honda, struck Amos, who walked northbound away from her parked car and into the traffic lanes.
Furthermore, The Rialto Police Department requests that those who have info on the accident call the Traffic Division at 909-421-4981.
