Pregnant Woman and Unborn Child Kills in Collision Near FM 774
Refugio County, TX (July 18, 2023) – On Sunday morning, Gabrielle Breaux of Louisiana, and her unborn child, were killed in a rollover collision on Highway 35.
Deputies with the Refugio County Sheriff’s Office responded to a rollover collision near FM 774.
According to the authorities, the truck rolled over after it struck an alligator in the middle of the road.
Immediately, the paramedics rushed the two adults and three children who were involved in the accident to area hospitals.
Gabrielle Breaux was taken to DeTar Hospital in Victoria where she and her child died.
Refugio County Office of Emergency Management, Tivoli Volunteer Fire Department, Refugio Volunteer Fire Department and Calhoun County EMS all responded to the fatal collision.
