Two Fatalities in Multi-Car Collision on Highway 99 and Sankey Road Identified

 
Sutter County, CA (UPDATE) – Authorities identified 27-year-old Gabriela Sanchez of Chico and a 43-year-old Arthur Medina who died in a multi-car collision on Highway 99 and Sankey Road on July 5.
 
According to reports, the collision involved a silver 2014 Toyota driven by Medina and a white 2007 BMW operated by Sanchez.
 
The BMW traveled in the wrong direction when it collided head-on with the northbound Toyota.
 
Emergency crews then responded and pronounced the two drivers dead on the scene.
 
Moreover, police say alcohol as a potential factor in the crash.
