LAREDO, TX (August 13, 2024) – Sunday night, 56-year-old Gabriel Meza died in a tragic motorcycle crash on Loop 20 near Laredo International Airport.

The incident occurred just before 10:00 p.m. along Loop 20, near the entrance of the Laredo International Airport.

Reports revealed that the motorcyclist had been hit by a vehicle and that the driver escaped the scene. Meanwhile, all southbound lanes on The Loop were shut down.

After the crash, responders took the motorcyclist to a local hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
