20-Year-Old Man Killed in Pinasco Road Hit-and-Run Crash

Stockton, CA (September 21, 2022) On Sunday morning, 20-year-old Gabriel Martinez of Stockton died in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 26 at Pinasco Road.

California Highway Patrol says that a vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian at around 4:37 a.m.

Reports say that the Martinez was found on the road with injuries consistent with someone hit by a vehicle. Officials pronounced Martinez dead at the scene.

Moreover, the driver of the vehicle did not stay and provide assistance, they apparently fled the scene after the collision.
