Gabriel Martinez Dies in Hit-and-Run Collison on State Route 26 [Stockton, CA]

Stockton, CA (September 21, 2022) On Sunday morning, 20-year-old Gabriel Martinez of Stockton died in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 26 at Pinasco Road.

California Highway Patrol says that a vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian at around 4:37 a.m.

Reports say that the Martinez was found on the road with injuries consistent with someone hit by a vehicle. Officials pronounced Martinez dead at the scene.

Moreover, the driver of the vehicle did not stay and provide assistance, they apparently fled the scene after the collision.

Authorities are searching for the suspect in the Pinasco Road hit-and-run crash. At the moment, CHP has not provided additional information regarding the hit-and-run accident.
