Officials say that the crash involved a big rig failing to stop, and rear-ending a maroon Chrysler, causing the Chrysler to collided head-on with a white Nissan Altima being driven by a 31-year-old woman.

Reports say that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 21-year-old driving the Chrysler was hurt and rushed to Community Regional Medical Center. Officials say that the big rig driver did not suffer injuries.
