Pedestrian Frederick Seim Fatally Struck on Interstate 55 [St. Louis County, MO]

St. Louis County, MO (October 14, 2024) – Frederick Seim, 46, of Columbia, Missouri, was fatally hit by a vehicle on Interstate 55 early Sunday morning.

It was about 12:20 a.m. when the deadly pedestrian crash happened north of Meramec Bottom Road.

Troopers said a Nissan Xterra was northbound when it hit the pedestrian in the roadway.

Unfortunately, Frederick Seim, was declared deceased at the scene.

The Xterra driver was not hurt while the vehicle was totaled.

In the meantime, the authorities are doing a further investigation on the fatal crash north of Meramec Bottom Road.
