Frank Jones Killed in Perris Motorcycle Crash on 215 Freeway
PERRIS, CA (May 21, 2020) – Early Wednesday morning, a motorcycle rider identified as Frank Jones died on the 215 Freeway in Perris.
The California Highway Patrol revealed that the accident occurred at around 1:41 a.m.
According to them, the fatal crash transpired in the southbound lanes of the 215 Freeway, near Harley Knox Boulevard.
When the responding police arrived at the scene, they found the rider down in the No. 1 lane.
Furthermore, debris was scattered across the 215 Freeway, the CHP added.
The Riverside County Fire Department pronounced the motorcycle rider, later identified as Frank Jones, dead at the scene.
Aftermath and Pending Investigation
After the collision, the authorities shut down the southbound lanes of 215 Freeway at Van Buren Boulevard.
At this time, the authorities haven’t figured out the events that had led up to the crash. As a result, the crash remains under active investigation.
Moreover, the police are also trying to determine whether drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the accident.
