Frank Addison Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 64 [Smith County, TX]

Smith County, TX (April 27, 2023) On Tuesday morning, 69-year-old Frank Addison of Laneville died after a collision with a garbage truck on SH64.

According to DPS, the deadly garbage truck crash happened on State Highway 64 in Smith County.

Reports say that Addison was on a 2009 Buick Enclave that collided with a 2009 Crane Carrier and was stopped on County Road 212, driven by 47-year-old Thomas Graham of Tyler. Officials say that Graham has turned west onto Highway 64 when the deadly crash happened.

Authorities say that the garbage truck did not yield the right-of-way, eventually causing the collision. Meanwhile, officials pronounced Addison dead at the scene.
