Motorcyclist Franco Vargas Dies in Pickup Truck Crash on 22nd Place Southern Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (February 22, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, motorcyclist Franco Vargas died in a pickup truck crash in 22nd place.

The fatal motorcycle vs pickup truck crash in Phoenix happened at around 3 p.m. on February 22.

Phoenix Police said the driver of the truck was making a turn onto 22nd Place from Southern Avenue when the victim, Vargas, crashed into the truck.

EMS then took the victim to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police did not suspect speed or impairment as factors in this crash.

No other information is immediately available.
